What Iridium does that Strong doesn't

  • Real-time set adaptation. Iridium adjusts your remaining sets mid-workout based on how each set actually goes. Strong records what you did — it doesn't change the plan as you go.
  • Fully personalized workouts. Iridium builds each session around your goals, equipment, history, and recovery, and tells you what to train. Strong logs whatever you decide to do.
  • Steerable AI coach. Write custom instructions Iridium follows every session, plus a chat coach you can ask to swap exercises or adjust sets mid-workout. Strong has no coaching layer.
  • Nutrition tracking. Barcode scanning, AI food logging, macro tracking. You need a separate app with Strong.
  • Volume landmarks & recovery. Iridium tracks optimal training volume (MEV/MAV/MRV) and per-muscle recovery. Strong measures neither.

What Strong does that Iridium doesn't

  • Slightly faster logging. Strong's minimal design means fewer taps per set. By a small margin.
  • CSV export. Export your full workout history for analysis. Iridium doesn't offer this yet.
  • Android support. Strong runs on iOS and Android. Iridium is iOS only.
