Your First Workout
Brief overview of generating and completing your first AI workout
Iridium generates personalized workouts using AI that considers your goals, available equipment, recovery metrics, and training history.
How It Works
When you tap "Generate Workout," the AI analyzes multiple factors:
- Your selected gym - Only includes exercises for equipment available at that location
- Workout duration - Adjusts exercise selection and volume to fit your time
- Recovery status - Uses readiness scores to modify intensity and volume
- Training history - Avoids overtraining specific muscle groups and suggests progression
- Muscle group focus - Prioritizes exercises targeting your selected muscle groups
The generation happens in stages: first creating the workout structure, then generating detailed exercise information with sets, reps, and weights based on your previous performance.
Starting Your Workout
Once generated, you can review the workout plan and start when ready. During the workout, you'll see:
- Previous set tracking - Shows your last performance for each exercise ("Prev." indicator)
- RPE tracking - Rate your perceived exertion after each set
- Rest timers - Automatic rest periods between sets
- AI recommendations - Real-time suggestions based on your performance
Complete sets by tapping the checkmark, and the app tracks your progress automatically. When finished, you'll see a summary with any personal records achieved.
